Bryce Harper In Tuesday's Lineup At Designated Hitter
Bryce Harper is making his season debut on Tuesday against Julio Urias and the Los Angeles Dodgers, batting third and acting as the designated hitter. The two-time MVP has been out of action all year after undergoing Tommy John surgery during the offseason. In 2022, Harper slashed .286/.364/.514 with 18 homers, 63 runs, 65 RBI, and 11 steals over 99 games. Fantasy managers should be excited to have the five-category contributor back, especially after his original timeline didn't have him returning until near the All-Star break. Harper's a must-start in all formats for the rest of 2023.

Bryce Harper Homers On Tuesday
Bryce Harper went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in a 6-4 win over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. Harper blasted a two-run shot off Hayden Birdsong in the seventh inning to push the Phillies' lead to 6-3. The blast traveled 354 feet with an exit velocity of 106.2 MPH. Harper is off to a decent start in 2025, hitting .250 with three homers, nine runs, seven RBI, and four steals across 64 at-bats. The veteran remains one of the top fantasy hitters in the league.

Bryce Harper Launches Two-Run Home Run
Bryce Harper went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and two walks in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Braves. This was his second home run of the year, and he is now slashing .279/.380/.465 with two home runs, five RBI, seven runs, and one stolen base through the first 11 games. It has been a slower start to the season for Harper compared to many other star players, but he'll heat up eventually and remains one of the game's best hitters.

Bryce Harper Open To A Move Back To The Outfield
Bryce Harper established himself as one of the league's best defensive first baseman in 2024 in his first full season playing the position. But in the offseason, he offered to return to the outfield if the Phillies were to acquire a big bat (such as Pete Alonso) to play first base. It came after Harper said in February of last year that he never wanted to move back to the outfield. The 32-year-old two-time MVP says he's still open to moving back to right field if the Phillies were to acquire a first baseman at the trade deadline this summer. "The main goal is to win the World Series." Alonso re-signed with the Mets, but perhaps the Phillies look to trade for Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is in the final year of his deal. Offensively, Harper returned to the 30-homer mark in 2024 and will come off the board in the early rounds of drafts as one of the best first baseman available.

Bryce Harper To Return On Friday
Bryce Harper (triceps) will return to the team's Grapefruit League lineup on Friday against the Boston Red Sox after he was hit by a pitch on Wednesday. Harper was removed from Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays as a precaution after suffering a right-triceps contusion. The Phillies gave the 32-year-old two-time MVP the day off at camp on Thursday. The eight-time All-Star is still looking for his first World Series ring heading into his 14th MLB season in 2025. He has taken well to the move from right field to first base and slashed .285/.373/.525 with an .898 OPS, 30 home runs, 87 RBI, seven steals and 85 runs scored in 145 games a year ago in his sixth year in Philadelphia. In a strong Phillies lineup, Harper is one of the safest fantasy selections at first base and is ranked No. 3 at the position at RotoBaller.
