Bryce Harper Hit On Foot Friday
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper was hit by a pitch on his right foot by a 96 mph fastball from Blue Jays right-hander Trent Thornton on Friday and gingerly walked off the field. Harper was 0-for-2 with a strikeout before leaving the game and is 0-for-5 with three walks in four games this spring with his new team. Hopefully it's not a serious injury for the superstar outfielder, but we'll update you when we know more on the severity of his condition. Harper hit under .250 in his final season in D.C. but he still had over 30 home runs and 100 RBI and is expected to bounce back in a potent lineup and a great hitting environment in Philly.
