Bryce Harper Could Be Heating Up
6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper crushed a 443-foot home run on Monday against Pittsburgh Pirates starter Ivan Nova during a 1-for-4 day at the plate. It was a welcoming sign for the 25-year-old, who has struggled in the first half with a .218 batting average. Harper has been showing signs of breaking out lately, going 4-for-9 with a home run and four walks in his last three games. Even with the first-half struggles, Harper is still tied with Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado for second in the National League in home runs with 22. He remains a set-and-forget fantasy option.
