Bryan Reynolds Injured Tuesday Night
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds left the game early on Tuesday when he injured his left quadriceps while running to first base after singling to right field. Reynolds, who was called up last weekend after the team lost Starling Marte to the injured list, had six hits in his first 12 big league at-bats before this injury. Jason Martin replaced Reynolds in the outfield and could see more playing time, depending on the severity of Reynolds' injury. Reynolds has a strong hit tool but is only a short-term option in deep mixed and NL-only leagues until the Pirates regular outfielders return healthy.
