Brusdar Graterol Pitches Scoreless Inning In MLB Debut
5 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Brusdar Graterol, one of the team's top pitching prospects, made his MLB debut on Sunday, pitching a scoreless ninth inning in the team's 8-3 win over the Tigers. He allowed two hits in the inning and had one strikeout. The hard-throwing right-hander had an average velocity of 99 miles per hour on his fastball in the appearance. Graterol has spent most of the year at Double-A. His minor league numbers on the year amount to 7-0 with a 1.92 ERA and 0.98 WHIP. The 21-year-old appears primed for a low leverage setup role with the team for now. He can be left on waivers in all leagues but could very much be fantasy relevant come 2020.
