Brusdar Graterol Converts His Second Save Tuesday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol closed out the team's 5-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday to earn his second save of the year. He pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out two. The 23-year-old is now 2-for-3 in save chances with a 3.55 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP on the year. The team's primary closer, Craig Kimbrel (back), was unavailable for the game, but he has officially been deemed available for Wednesday's game, meaning he'll be taking ninth inning duties back. Graterol appears to be the next man up for closing duties in LA, but he'd need another injury to Kimbrel to find himself pitching in the ninth once again.
