Browns Sign Kevin Stefanski, Andrew Berry To Extensions
6 months agoThe Cleveland Browns announced on Wednesday that they have signed both head coach Kevin Stefanski and executive vice president of football operations and general manager Andrew Berry to contract extensions. Stefanski and Berry both came to Cleveland in 2020 and have a record of 37-30 with the team, the highest winning percentage for the team over a four-year stretch since 1986-89. In 2020, the Browns made their first playoff appearance since 2002 and won their first postseason game in 26 years. Cleveland also finished last year with an 11-6 record and another trip to the playoffs, but they were knocked out in the first round by the Houston Texans. Under Stefanski, the Browns have established a prominent running game and are third in the NFL with an average of 139.6 rushing yards per game since 2020.
