Browns Likely To Use Tight Ends More In Week 6
6 years agoWith Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Derrick Willies (collarbone) on Injured Reserve and Rashard Higgins (knee) out two to four weeks, the team will likely have increased repetitions for tight ends David Njoku, Seth DeValve and Darren Fells in Week 6 against the Chargers. Running back Duke Johnson should also be more involved in the passing game. Njoku, who has 17 targets and 11 catches in the two starts by rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield, should be the main beneficiary. He'll be in play as a low-end TE1 with upside this Sunday.
