Browns Fire Hue Jackson
6 years agoThe Cleveland Browns fired head coach Hue Jackson on Monday, according to a source. While the Browns have won three games this year, they continue to disappoint with more talent in 2018. Jackson's 3-36-1 record with the Browns in his three years is the worst head-coaching record for one team in NFL history with a minimum of 40 games. Seven different quarterbacks started for Jackson during his time with the team. With offensive coordinator Todd Haley also being dismissed, the Browns are headed for another coaching overhaul in the middle of the season. It's not good news for the development of rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield. Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will take over as the interim head coach, which seems like an odd choice to help develop the team's young offensive weapons through the remainder of the year.
