Browns Could Trade For Gerald McCoy
6 years agoCleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey is believed to be interested in trading for Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy following the draft. He led Tampa in quarterback hits (21) last year, and the Buccaneers could use running back Duke Johnson, who has requested a trade out of Cleveland. McCoy, 31, was the third overall pick in 2010 and was a first-team All-Pro in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He had six sacks while playing 70 percent of Tampa's defensive downs (732 overall). With one year left on his deal, McCoy is set to make $13 million in 2019. Tampa spent their first five picks of the draft bolstering their defense.
