Brooks Koepka Has a Rare Missed Cut
6 years agoBrooks Koepka shot a three-over par at the RBC Canadian Open, missing his first cut at a non-team event since March of 2017. The American had reeled off 26 worldwide individual cuts in a row, so it is an understatement to call Koepka's performance a surprise. In early March of this year, Koepka had to withdraw pre-tournament from the WGC-Mexico Championship due to a wrist injury, and in his first start back almost two months later, he partnered with Marc Turnesa at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans two-man team event, and the duo missed the cut. The fourth-ranked golfer in the world had one of the best streaks going on the PGA Tour, but he won't have to wait long to restart a new one. Koepka is slated to compete in next week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational held in Akron, Ohio.
