1 year agoAccording to Mike Klis of 9News.com, a local Denver station, the Broncos "do not appear to be in on" free-agent running back Dalvin Cook. While Klis does anticipate the team adding another backfield performer, it will probably be someone who occupies at least the No. 3 spot on the depth chart. The team's No. 1 option, Javonte Williams (knee), isn't a lock to suit up for Week 1, meaning Samaje Perine could see extra touches to begin the 2023 campaign. As far as Cook, the rumors will continue, although nobody will know for certain where he'll land until he puts pen to paper.
