5 years agoThe Denver Broncos had a video call with Baylor wide receiver Denzel Mims, who greatly improved his draft stock with his Senior Bowl showing and combine performance. Scouts and NFL executives are torn on Mims. Some see him as a potential draft bust and others think he could be better than Alabama's Jerry Jeudy. Mims' physicality stands out, but he lacks polish in route-running and body control. He also has inconsistent hands and will need to be coached up to reach his true potential at the next level. Because of the uncertainty of how good Mims can ultimately be, he might slip into the second round in this year's loaded wideout class. Denver is looking for a wideout that they can pair with Courtland Sutton on the outside, giving young quarterback Drew Lock another dynamic option through the air.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
