Brian Sabean Rejoins Yankees Front Office Tuesday
2 years agoBaseball front-office veteran Brian Sabean has rejoined the New York Yankees as an executive advisor to senior vice president and general manager Brian Cashman, the team announced Tuesday. Sabean began his baseball career with the Yankees as a scout in 1985 before earning a promotion to the director of scouting from 1986-1990, and then the vice president of player development and scouting from 1990-1992. He has since served as the senior vice president, general manager and executive vice president of baseball operations for the San Francisco Giants. The Yankees have already made a number of offseason player moves to this point, but their front office has a history of being one of baseball's most active teams.
