Brian Anderson Hit on the Hand on Monday
5 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman/outfielder Brian Anderson (hand) was forced to leave Monday's Grapefruit League game after being hit by a pitch. The pitch seemed to hit Anderson in the left hand, which he had broken last season by a pitch as well. Last season ended early for Anderson due to the broken hand, so this is certainly something to keep an eye on. The Marlins will likely update his status after the game against the Cardinals. Anderson hit a career-high 20 home runs last year in 126 games, but on a rebuilding team in a pitcher-friendly home park, he's mostly just corner infield depth in deep mixed leagues.
