6 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers had a "very good" meeting on Monday with free-agent catcher Wilson Ramos, who is on hand at the winter meetings this week. The 31-year-old was an All-Star last year with the Rays and Phillies and would be an upgrade over catchers Manny Pina, Erik Kratz and Jacob Nottingham. However, Ramos has been injury-prone in his career despite hitting .306/.358/.487 with 15 home runs in 382 at-bats last season. The Mets, A's and Twins also like Ramos, who is quietly one of the better hitting catchers in the game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
