4 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns put a stop to a five-game point drought on Monday, needing only 45 seconds to open the scoring in a 6-2 loss to Minnesota. Timo Meier and Rudolfs Balcers produced the assists on the play, with Logan Couture later tallying his 10th goal of the season. Burns had a huge down year in 2019-20 and sadly, he hasn't done particularly well this season either with eight points in 17 games and a minus-seven rating.
