2 months agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) remains sidelined on Sunday due to hamstring tightness. However, Patrick Lyons of Justbaseball.com reports that the infielder could return to the starting nine as early as Monday. Rodgers sat out Saturday's game but should not be expected to miss any significant period of time. Before the injury, Rogers held a mere .184/.225/.237 line throughout September with only two extra-base hits. As a result, Aaron Schunk will cover the keystone and bat in the nine-hole. The 27-year-old has tallied at least one hit in each of the past three starts and could be a sneaky play in DFS this afternoon as he will face Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks, who carries a hefty 6.51 ERA.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
