Breece Hall Takes Over The Jets Backfield In Week 4
2 years agoNew York Jets rookie running back Breece Hall finally took the Jets backfield for himself in a Week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hall ran the ball 17 times, gaining 66 yards and scoring a touchdown. He caught two passes for 12 more yards as well. Meanwhile, Michael Carter ran the ball nine times and gained just 15 scoreless yards, adding two catches of his own. The first three weeks of the season made it fairly clear that Hall was the more explosive of the two backs, but Week 4 was the first time that on field usage showed that the Jets were also aware of it. Hall should be an RB2 option going forward, with nice upside in what looks like it will be a run-first offense.
