Braylin Morel Dominating In The Rookie League
4 months agoTexas Rangers outfield prospect Braylin Morel has posted stellar production in the Rookie League over the past two seasons and could be nearing a promotion to Single-A. In 47 games last season, Morel held a .344/.417/.644 slash line with seven home runs, 43 RBI, and a 21:50 BB:K. In 40 games this campaign, the 18-year-old has looked just as strong with a .313/.410/.587 line with seven long balls, 37 RBI, and an improved 21:43 BB:K. In addition, he is currently riding an incredible nine-game hitting streak, where he has launched five home runs and recorded 16 total hits. Morel is a budding star in the lower levels of the minor leagues and is worth paying close attention to when he gets the call to Single-A.
