2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) will be placed on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, according to Todd Rosiak. The right-hander is dealing with right shoulder inflammation, but the club is hoping that he'll only spend the minimum amount of time on the shelf. In a corresponding move, the Brewers are promoting 27-year-old Janson Junk, who is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has limited action at the major-league level and owns a 4.74 ERA across 24 2/3 innings but has good command, exhibited by his 4.6% walk rate. He's pitched to a 0.90 ERA so far in Triple-A this season, but fantasy managers should be careful with Junk, who doesn't have the best stuff and likely won't rack up too many strikeouts.--Spencer Seguin
