Brandon Nimmo’s Hitting Streak Snapped At Six Games

New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo has been the talk of the town as of late, but on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers he decided he’d calm it down and try to let his teammates do the work. It didn’t work as the Mets lost 5-2, so Nimmo will have to pick things back up on Saturday. Friday’s effort snapped Nimmo’s six-game hitting streak, but fantasy owners aren’t complaining much. Over that span, Nimmo went 12-for-29 with three home runs, one double, eight runs scored, nine RBI and one stolen base. The well-rounded 25-year-old is a solid bet to continue his breakout throughout the season.
