5 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (neck), who was scratched from the lineup on Tuesday, will undergo an MRI exam on Wednesday. He said he hasn't recovered from the neck injury that cost him two games in April, and it has bothered him ever since. Nimmo hasn't really been good all year and is hitting .136 (6-for-44) with no homers and five RBI in the month of May. He's right at the Mendoza Line (.200) for the season with three long balls, 14 RBI and one steal in 161 plate appearances.
