5 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (neck) is playing catch and ramping up his running, according to general manager Brodie Van Wagenen. There still remains no timetable for Nimmo's return, and he's been out since May 20. He was only hitting .200/.344/.323 with three home runs, 20 runs, 14 RBI and a steal in 130 at-bats before his injury, too, so he can continue to be left on the waiver wire in most mixed leagues. The left-handed batter was a surprising success for the Mets in 140 games in 2018 but has been hurt by injuries this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
