Brandon Nimmo Leading Off, Amed Rosario Sitting Thursday
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo returns to the lineup to lead off on Thursday against the Washington Nationals. He will play right field while Michael Conforto and Matthew den Dekker round out the rest of the outfield. Amed Rosario will sit in favor of veteran shortstop Jose Reyes. Kevin Plawecki will catch in favor of Devin Mesoraco. Dominic Smith will sit while Wilmer Flores mans first base. Asdrubal Cabrera also returns to the lineup at second base. Unfortunately for the Mets, their lineup will have to go up against “Mad” Max Scherzer, who has utterly dominated them throughout his career. Coincidentally, third baseman Jose Bautista actually has really strong numbers against Scherzer (.450 average). That said, any Mets hitter started in fantasy lineups on Thursday should be considered a risky play.
