Brandon McManus Should Be Busy In Week 2
2 years agoDenver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus has one of the strongest legs in the NFL, but he couldn't make the potential game-winning kick from 64 yards out in the Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks when head coach Nathaniel Hackett curiously elected to kick the long field goal instead of going for it on fourth down late in the game. With an improved Denver offense now that quarterback Russell Wilson is in town, McManus will have more opportunities to score points for fantasy managers. In Week 1, he went 3-for-4 on field-goal tries and made his only extra-point attempt. He'll get a Houston Texans team in Week 2 that allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to kickers in 2021. McManus clearly has the trust of Hackett and will be a top-10 fantasy kicker in Week 2.
