Brandon Marshall Works Role As No. 2 WR
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Brandon Marshall seemed comfortable in his role as the team's No. 2 wide receiver on Monday night. Marshall ceded primary duty to Tyler Lockett while Doug Baldwin (knee) remains out, and he worked well as an outlet during Russell Wilson's scramble drills. Marshall is obviously past his prime and won't carry the team, but his size and skillset makes him a nice alternative to the smaller and quicker options like Lockett and Baldwin. Expect Marshall's number to get called plenty of times in the red zone this year as he acts more like a tight end than a wideout.
