Brandon Marsh Logs Another Start Versus A Lefty
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh is making another start versus a left-handed pitcher as he takes on the Giants and southpaw Alex Wood Monday in San Francisco. Playing time has been plentiful for Marsh as his center-field platoon partner Cristian Pache is out with a knee injury that required surgery. It's been a big season for Marsh to this point the former Angels outfielder owns a .295 average with four homers, one stolen base, and a .955 OPS across 134 plate appearances on the season. However, Marsh has already endured some regression at the plate and his unsustainable .426 BABIP has nowhere to go but south moving forward. Nonetheless, he has been a factor near the bottom of the Phillies' lineup this season even if he doesn't hit for much home run power.
