Brandon Lowe Continues To Show Power
5 months agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe went 2-for-4 with a walk and solo home run in Tuesday's victory versus the Kansas City Royals. Lowe took former teammate Nick Anderson deep in the top of the ninth inning to add an insurance run with his seventh homer of the season. The veteran has dealt with injuries this season, but he has been solid when healthy. On the season, Lowe is now hitting .220 with seven homers and 24 RBI in 123 at-bats. Lowe isn't going to help managers in the batting average department, but his power makes him a solid option in mixed leagues at a position that isn't the deepest.
