Brandon Lowe Belts Grand Slam In Win Over Cleveland
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe went 1-for-3 with a grand slam and two runs scored during Monday's 9-8 win over Cleveland. With the bases loaded, Lowe took Logan Allen deep in the second inning for his 17th long ball of the season. He's now hitting .250 (5-for-20) with three homers and seven RBI over his last six games. The 27-year-old continues to provide decent power, but is barely batting over the Mendoza line and owns a 31.8 strikeout percentage. Lowe is slashing .205/.314/.432 with 17 home runs, 43 RBI, 43 runs scored, and four stolen bases across 318 plate appearances in 2021.
