Brandon Lowe Beats Up Cleveland Sunday
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Brandon Lowe remained scorching Sunday versus Cleveland. He first homered to open the scoring in the game to make it 1-0. He then slammed a deep double to drive in two runs during the seventh inning to make the game 6-0. The double looked to be mere icing on the cake at the time but would end up as the game-winning blow as Cleveland scored four times late and made the final score 6-4. He is 12-for-24 with eight runs scored, 10 RBI, his first three career HR and first two career steals over his last nine games played. He has played both the infield and outfield for the team since his call-up. Lowe might have some value in deep leagues but that value relies on him getting middle infielder eligibility in your league.
