Brandon Hagy Coming Off A Strong Performance
3 years agoBrandon Hagy is coming off a sixth-place finish last week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in which he gained strokes in all four major categories, including 3.2 strokes off the tee and 3.2 strokes putting. While there's reason to believe that Hagy's putting will regress, the University of California's product's strong finish last week was far from an anomaly. Already this season, the California native has finished runner-up at the Honda Classic, 17th at the Valero Texas Open, and 26th at the Wells Fargo Championship. With that being said, fantasy managers might want to save Hagy for a different course. The two strongest areas of his game are his off the tee play and short game, and TPC Deere Run is better suited for elite iron players and putters. Hagy is still worth a look, as he has displayed contending upside and he comes in at a reasonable price.
