The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed forward Brandon Hagel to a three-year, $4.5 million contract ($1.5 million average annual value) on Friday. The 22-year-old, who was a restricted free agent, is coming off a solid rookie campaign in 2020-2021 - having registered 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists), 91 shots and 59 hits in 52 games. The former sixth-round draft pick solidified his role in the team's middle-six forward group last season and should be a intriguing asset in deeper fantasy pools next season given his well-rounded production.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
