1 year agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Brandon Drury (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left shoulder contusion, retroactive to June 30. Drury missed the last two contests while dealing with the shoulder issue so the team placed him on the IL and recalled infielder Andrew Velazquez from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. The 30-year-old infielder is slashing a solid .277/.322/.500 with 14 home runs and 45 RBI over 282 at-bats on the season.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
