Brandon Drury In, Greg Bird And Gleyber Torres Out
6 years agoNew York Yankees versatile infielder Brandon Drury is in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves. Drury will play first base for the slumping Greg Bird, who will sit the game out. Also sitting is the spectacular rookie second baseman Gleyber Torres. Fantasy owners will undoubtedly be frustrated with the news since the youngster has been on fire. Neil Walker will man second base in his absence. Catcher Kyle Higashioka will once again be behind the plate while Austin Romine (hamstring) and Gary Sanchez (groin) remain out. The Yanks will face Sean Newcomb, who is having an outstanding season for the Braves. The 25-year-old has only faced Giancarlo Stanton in the past, so you can expect an early feeling-out process. That said, Aaron Judge and Aaron Hicks have both been hot and should be started with confidence.
