Brandon Crawford Looking To Bounce Back In '19
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford is hitting .205 during exhibition play as spring training winds to a close. The veteran shortstop is coming off a down season in 2018, posting his lowest slugging percentage (.394) since 2014. Crawford 's season capsized in the second half of last season, hitting only .194 while his power completely disappeared. It didn't help matters that he hit only .212 batting average with runners in scoring position after hitting .270 in 2017. Crawford is a professional hitter who can drive in runs but will carry plenty of skepticism to begin the season in most fantasy circles. The 32-year-old's value will be best deployed in NL-only leagues to begin the season.
