San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (knee) took batting practice on Monday but still hasn't been cleared to run. He is hoping to return from the disabled list later this week. That might be a tough goal given the fact that Belt hasn't done any running at all since being injured almost two weeks ago. The Giants and fantasy owners can't have Belt return soon enough. He was hitting .278 with 14 home runs and 43 RBI before his injury.--Keith Hernandez
