Brandin Cooks, Cooper Kupp Could Play In Week 6
6 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receivers Brandin Cooks (concussion) and Cooper Kupp (concussion), who both suffered concussions in Week 5, both have a chance to play in Week 6 against the Broncos. They will both begin the week in the concussion protocol, but head coach Sean McVay said both receivers are feeling better. “They felt good today. They didn’t have any symptoms or things like that,” McVay said. “We’ll go through the standard operating procedure, and if everything checks out — with our guys and with the doctors that are part of that process — then we’re hopeful to get those guys this week, get them back for this game this week.” Keep close track of their practice status this week. If both are cleared, they should be locked into lineups against an overrated Denver secondary this weekend. If one or both of them can't play, it'd increase the roles of wideout Josh Reynolds and tight ends Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee.
