Brandin Cooks A Solid WR3 Against Jaguars
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks should see a fair amount of targets in Week 1 against the Jaguars. Cooks torched the Jaguars' 27th-ranked pass defense in his two meetings against them last season, totaling 161 yards and a score on 12 targets in the first game and another 83 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in the second, albeit with Deshaun Watson throwing him passes. The 27-year-old wideout will now be catching passes from Tyrod Taylor- though he is undoubtedly the top option when considering the other receivers in the room, rookie Nico Collins, Anthony Miller, Danny Amendola, and Chris Conley. Consider Cooks a solid WR3 for Week 1.
