Brady Singer Struggles With Control On Tuesday
3 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer had a short outing against the New York Yankees on Tuesday. Singer pitched 3 2/3 innings and allowed five hits, five walks and two earned runs while striking out five. The five walks were a season-high. Singer was removed early in his previous start before this one due to a shoulder injury. There's a chance that the injury is still lingering and contributed to his command struggles on Tuesday. Through 15 starts on the year, Singer is 3-5 with a 4.77 ERA and 1.49 WHIP. His next start will be on Sunday against the Texas Rangers.
