3 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer got absolutely clobbered by the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. He only lasted two innings, giving up eight hits, one walk and seven earned runs while striking out just one. He is now 3-7 on the year with a 5.13 ERA and 1.55 WHIP. It's been a rough season overall for Singer, but Saturday's outing was his worst of the year by most measures. He has some promising underlying statistics, most notably his 3.86 xERA, but he's too tough to trust for fantasy purposes for now.
