Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby allowed three goals on 29 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes last night. The loss snapped a personal three-game win streak for the netminder, and also halts a five-game streak for the team. Holtby has now allowed at least three goals in 10 of his last 12 games. The Caps' next two games are a back-to-back against the Penguins and the Blues, Holtby will likely start against one of them. Another strong game from Philipp Grubauer will almost certainly decide who the team will roll with for the playoffs, that is if they haven't already.--Barry Miles
