Braden Holtby Allows Three Goals In Loss
7 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby stopped 22 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the first game of their second round matchup. It was case of deja vu for Caps fans as they blew a 2-0 lead in the third period and never managed to come back from it. In Holtby's defense, all three of Pittsburgh goals were quite impressive, but the 28-year-old still finished the night with a .880 save percentage. It's anyone's guess if this is the year the Caps can finally take a series from the Pens, but last night's loss was a bad start.
