Brad Peacock Placed On Injured List
5 years agoThe Houston Astros placed starting pitcher Brad Peacock (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list on Friday with right shoulder soreness. It could help explain why he allowed six runs and seven hits in just three innings against the Pirates on Thursday. Reliever Reymin Guduan was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock and can be ignored in all fantasy leagues. "We expect him to be back in the rotation after the All-Star break. A little bit of rest does everybody good, and we hope he can mend quickly," manager A.J. Hinch said. Cy Sneed, Rogelio Armenteros and Brady Rodgers are all options to take Peacock's turn next Tuesday against the Rockies. Obviously none of them would be good fantasy options. Peacock is 1-3 with a 7.08 ERA in his last four starts and has been dealing with the shoulder soreness for some time.
