5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder/utility player Brad Miller is dealing with lower back stiffness and is considered day-to-day. The team does not expect the injury to impact Miller's availability for Opening Day nor for it to be an issue he has to deal with in the regular season. It seems they are being cautious with Miller and making sure he's ready to go when the games start to count. Miller should get plenty of playing time around the infield, but he's unlikely to have a consistent starting role unless someone ahead of him gets injured. He could develop some NL-only value if another Cardinals infielder gets hurt, but for now he's more of a "wait and see" player in fantasy circles.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
