Brad Keselowski Massively Struggles At Atlanta
3 months agoFor the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Brad Keselowski finished 19th on Sunday. Starting 19th at the beginning of the race, Keselowski struggled to gain track position throughout the entire day. In the first stage, Keselowski fell back to 25th and failed to score stage points. The No. 6 Ford driver would rise through the field a bit during the second stage but could not collect stage points again as he ended the stage in 13th. In the race's final stage, Keselowski avoided all of the wrecks but still struggled to maintain track position at the front. Keselowski would pit twice during the stage for tires and fuel, hoping to use fuel strategy to make it through the field, but the opportunity never came based on the timing of cautions in the stage. The RFK Racing driver would leave AMS with the second-worst finish of his Cup career at the site since it was reconfigured in 2022. Watkins Glen is the next track the Cup Series will visit, but it is a track where Keselowski has not seen top finishes since the 2010s.
