Brad Hand Struggles Again on Wednesday
5 years agoCleveland Indians closer Brad Hand struggled on Wednesday against the Mets, taking a loss and a blown save. He got just two outs, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk. He threw 18 pitches, faced six batters, and watched the Mets walk off. It was Hand's fifth blown save and his record dropped to 6-4. He hasn't been the same pitcher in the second half after his almost unhittable first half. He's not in danger of losing his job, but Cleveland fans and Hand's fantasy owners could sure use a string of scoreless outings from him.
