Brad Hand Earns a Four-Out Save on Thursday
5 years agoCleveland Indians closer Brad Hand picked up a four-out save on Thursday, locking down a 7-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins. Hand allowed two hits and two walks, throwing 31 pitches but ultimately earning his 29th save of the year. He inherited a base runner in the eighth inning but did not allow him to score, then threw a scoreless ninth inning on his own. He'll take a 2.28 ERA to the mound his next time out, looking for his 30th save.
