Matthew Boyd Labors Through Four Innings

Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Matthew Boyd gave up three earned runs in four innings pitched Monday night vs Houston. He only struck out two and needed 96 pitches to get through four innings. Boyd was plagued by the long ball in this one serving up two home runs which accounted for all three runs scored against him. Despite the rough outing, Boyd still boasts a 3.15 ERA and has a 10.8 K/9. He should still be owned in all leagues and has an easier matchup later this week when he's scheduled to start against Oakland.
