Bobby Portis Has Very Productive 16 Minutes Against Jordan
1 year agoMilwaukee Bucks forward/center Bobby Portis came alive at the FIBA World Cup on Wednesday, producing the goods at both ends of the court in a blowout victory over Jordan. The 28-year-old notched 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting and registered six rebounds with three steals in 16 minutes. Playing as a backup, Portis had logged only 22 minutes across the first two games of the tournament, but the Americans completely dominated Wednesday's game, and head coach Steve Kerr decided to spread the minutes around more. Every Team USA player logged at least 12 minutes and nobody saw over 21 minutes on the court. Portis & Co. will continue the show on Friday versus Montenegro.
